About Vehilo

Independent advice for used-car buyers who want more than gut feeling.

Vehilo helps private buyers understand a listing earlier and more clearly: what is visible, what is missing, and which questions should be answered before viewing, reserving, or paying a deposit.

Buyer-paid
No dealer commission
Transparent about uncertainty

Why Vehilo exists

Built from a love of cars and respect for the buying decision.

Vehilo started from a simple observation: many people buy a used car in a moment where the seller knows more, time pressure is high, and emotion can take over.

The founder has loved cars since childhood and has followed the automotive market for years with genuine enthusiasm. That sits alongside consultancy experience, sales consulting, and practical sales work. The result shapes Vehilo: analytical enough to bring structure, human enough to stay close to the buyer's real question.

The goal is not to take every decision away from the buyer. Vehilo exists to improve the quality of the decision before a listing turns into a trip, a deposit, or a contract.

Buyer-first

Vehilo works on the buyer's side.

We are paid by the buyer, not by dealers. There is no hidden seller commission, no sales pressure, and no incentive to make a specific car look better than it is.

Paid independently

The mandate comes from the buyer. That simple structure protects the advice from dealer incentives.

No false certainty

We say what looks supported, what is only an assumption, and which points remain open.

Practical, not inflated

The best advice helps before the next step: ask, inspect, negotiate, pause, or walk away.

Principles

What Vehilo should be measured against.

Clarity before conversion

Good advice can mean not pursuing a car further or asking for documents before moving ahead.

Independence by design

No vehicle sales, no dealer commission, and no hidden agenda behind the recommendation.

No fake authority

Listing analysis is not a technical inspection. Boundaries are named clearly instead of hiding uncertainty.

Premium but practical

The experience should feel serious and considered, but the value stays concrete: risks, questions, price logic, and next steps.

Method

How Vehilo reads a listing.

A good listing is more than data, photos, and price. It also says something about seller logic, missing evidence, timing, and the risks that need checking in person.

1. Understand the listing

Vehicle data, specification, history, photos, seller text, and missing information are sorted first.

2. Put the car in context

Price, mileage, model risks, use case, and market logic are reviewed for plausibility.

3. Read seller logic

We look for gaps, wording, document status, motivation, and questions that should be clarified in writing before the appointment.

4. Clarify next steps

The useful output is a decision path: continue, request documents, inspect technically, negotiate, pause, or walk away.

Expectations

Listing analysis and buying guidance, not a workshop inspection.

Vehilo helps before the next step. We do not replace a ramp inspection, a specialist test drive, or a qualified check by a workshop, TÜV, DEKRA, or expert.

What Vehilo can do

  • Review one listing in a structured way and name visible risks.
  • Identify missing facts, seller questions, and inspection priorities.
  • Check price logic and comparison direction for plausibility.
  • Help buyers decide more calmly about the next step.

What Vehilo does not claim

  • No technical report and no guarantee of condition, accident status, or fault-free status.
  • No legal, financing, insurance, or tax advice.
  • No automatic seller outreach and no purchase decision without explicit approval.
  • No absolute claim about value, safety, or future reliability without strong evidence.
