Terms of Service
1. Provider and scope
These terms apply to services by Vehilo, operated by Vehilo operator details pending founder approval, for consumers requesting or booking used-car advisory and research services through the website.
2. Service scope
- Vehilo provides independent research, plausibility checks, risk assessment, seller questions, and purchase-preparation advice.
- Vehilo does not sell vehicles, act as the seller's broker, hold purchase funds, or guarantee vehicle condition.
- Vehilo does not provide legal, tax, financing, insurance, appraisal, or technical inspection services.
- Reports, scorecards, and calls are opinion-based decision support based on information available at the time of work.
- Listings, prices, and availability may change; customers remain responsible for final purchase decisions.
3. Contract, prices, payment
A contract is formed when Vehilo confirms the order or starts work after payment. Prices are shown on the website or in an individual offer. Payments may use Stripe, PayPal, or approved SEPA/invoice handling. Live payments remain disabled or in test/soft-launch mode until legal and tax sign-off.
4. Customer cooperation and timing
Customers must provide accurate details, reachable contact information, and relevant listing or vehicle data. The 48-hour Listing Audit window starts only once payment, contact details, and sufficient vehicle/listing information are available.
5. Withdrawal, cancellation, fast processing
Consumers have the separate withdrawal notice. If customers expressly request that Vehilo starts before the withdrawal period ends, value compensation may be due for work already performed. Once the service is fully performed, the withdrawal right may expire early under statutory conditions.
- Before work starts, cancellation is free and the paid amount is refunded in full.
- If a listing disappears, is privately removed, or clearly does not fit the booked product before substantive work starts, the customer may choose a full refund or one free switch to another listing.
- If required information is missing, the delivery clock pauses until the missing information is available. If the order remains unworkable for seven days, we actively agree whether to refund, switch, or continue later.
- If Vehilo misses a promised delivery time for reasons within Vehilo's control and the service is no longer useful to the customer, we offer a refund or a new delivery slot.
- Beta and first paid customers receive correction, rebooking, or refund at their choice when there is a clear Vehilo quality failure.
6. Liability limits
Vehilo has unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, and mandatory statutory liability. For simple negligence, liability is limited to breach of essential duties and foreseeable typical damages. Vehilo is not liable for sellers, platforms, payment providers, or independent specialists.
7. Partners and conflicts
Specialist referrals are optional and transparent. Vehilo accepts no dealer commissions in V1. Any future compensation or conflict must be disclosed before referral.
8. Final provisions
German law applies, preserving mandatory consumer protections. Contract language is German unless English is expressly agreed. Consumer dispute resolution: Vehilo is not willing or obliged to participate in consumer dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board unless a legal obligation applies.
