Used Nissan GT-R R35: market, modifications and inspection points

AUTO BILD describes the R35 as a sophisticated all-wheel-drive supercar with a transaxle dual-clutch gearbox and 485–600 PS depending on year. For used cars, it favours original examples and treats idle rattling and possible output-bearing or clutch-basket concerns as inspection prompts. These are not universal defects. Vehilo did not road-test or diagnose a GT-R.

KBA reference 11628 with Nissan code R21A4 was published on 22 March 2022 for GT-R production from 20 August to 16 October 2020. A front steering knuckle outside specification may deform, affect steering and in the worst case cause wheel loss; both front knuckles are replaced. The row lists 23 potentially affected parts/accessories worldwide and one in Germany, no known incidents and status ‘überwacht’ (monitored).
